February News

We’re well and truly into 2016 now and the ADC team are getting busier and busier. Our engineers have been installing, servicing and fixing doors nationwide this month, travelling all the way to Devon and all the way up to Newcastle stopping off at just about every city in between. We placed a heavy emphasis on staff training in February and aim to continue with this throughout the year.

ADC Training!

Our engineers were keen to learn more about new side safety technology, so this month, we invited Ken Peacham from Hotron Ireland to visit our engineers at our ADC HQ in Bromborough to provide new insights and training. Installations engineers, Tom, Tom, Paul and Kev were introduced to Hotron’s new side safety products, with Ken talking them through all the latest features and installation set ups. Learn More

Sometimes it takes a different person to look at a situation to come up with a new innovative idea which can improve the system we are using. This time it was up to our Group Managing Director, Mike Parker. Rather than separate departments, Mike sees the company as ‘one team’ and it is this approach that helps him to convey the company ‘ethos’ to all employees regardless of their role within the company. This month, Mike sat down with our ADC office team to provide an insightful training session on Commercial Awareness. Learn More

Staff News!

We said goodbye to our lovely Emma in JPF Accounts in January, who started her maternity leave. Emma and her husband Rob welcomed their second child, Joshua David Corlett on 21st February 2016 at 7.30am. Joshua weighed in at 8lb 12oz and mother and baby are both doing well. Congratulations Emma and Rob!

Engineer in training!

Here at ADC we like to nourish talent, training apprentices up to become fully fledged ADC installations engineers. This type of training takes time, so we have decided the earlier we can start engineer training the better! Meet our new ADC engineer in training Jacob Challinor: Our installations engineer Tom’s son!

Installations

February has been a busy month for our ADC engineers. We’ve installed new doors at several Tesco and NHS sites and even a new arched door and frame at St Johns Church. A huge thanks to our installations teams for braving the cold to bring us some great installs this month. Don’t worry guys, Spring is coming, you can ditch the thermals next month!
