Dock levellers precisely compensate for the gap between a lorry/ vehicle bed and the loading dock floor allowing goods to be transported in and out in one continues horizontal movement. They allow for the safe, smooth and reliable transfer of goods in and out of warehouses and distribution centres and are often at the heart of any good loading bay design.
Yesterday our ADC engineers Adam Simpson, Chris Carr, Les Mullen and Rob Williams attended a dock leveller training course at the Link Controls HQ in Runcorn. The course gave our engineers the knowledge and expertise to safely service and repair dock levellers around the UK.
Here at ADC, we are committed to a continual training plan for our engineers to ensure they are fully trained and competent to work safely in a variety of industry environments. All 4 engineers passed the training and now have the relevant experience and training to service & repair dock levellers.
As the need for dock levellers rises, we are seeing an increasing number of enquiries for works including breakdowns, service requirements, installations etc. We are committed to ensuring we can meet the needs and demands of all our customers, as well as ensuring our staff are safe at all times and comfortable in any working environment.
