Following the latest guidelines set out by our Government to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, we have taken the decision to drastically reduce our operations until the 30th June. At which time we will review our position depending on government advice.
With such uncertainty surrounding the coming weeks and months, it is very difficult to know what ‘the right thing to do’ is, but we have made this decision in the best interests of our employees, customers, family and friends.
This will obviously affect all previously agreed programmes, but we will work closely with you to try and minimise any disruption as best we can.
As part of our commitment to our customers and staff, please find below our working approach in relation to our Service and Installation Departments.
Our Service engineers will continue to work in order to meet our customer requirements, if within the stipulated guidelines set by the government and considered essential works such as key workplaces. We have therefore halved our number of engineers required to work during this difficult time. Please be assured, we are committed to our customers and will continue to provide a great level of service where possible.
Please note, to ensure the safety of our engineers and others whilst we are working, our engineers have been instructed to observe the following guidelines.
- Engineers are to remain at least the minimum safe distance from others as stipulated by the government at all times.
- Supplied barriers are to be used to isolate entrances from pedestrian use without exception.
- Gloves are to be worn while working and changed frequently.
- Anti-bacterial wipes, hand sanitiser and cleaning materials are to be used to ensure good hygiene and no contamination.
- No paperwork via the engineers PDA is to be shared with customers and signatures are no longer required.
Due to the nature of installation work and the close proximity required, we have decided to stop all site installations from being carried out. If your install is due in the next three weeks, please contact our operations team to discuss your options. Please be aware that we are heavily reliant on our supply chain and we have been informed that many have already closed their facilities.
During this period we will have a skeleton staff working in the factory and they will be carrying out emergency works only. All other employees will be contactable and we will continue to complete quotes and CAD drawings. We will keep you updated on any required changes that we make following further government advice.
Thank you for your understanding during this tough period.
All the best, stay safe.
